More Songs

God only knows how many songs we’ve written or how many different versions there have been. But this will give you an idea. There are a few here that didn’t make the latest script, but mostly they’re just different versions of songs on the Script and Songs page. Most are recorded; a few, perhaps will appear only as lyrics. The quality of the recording varies quite a bit, as they were taken from different productions, or from presentations we made to producers, etc., in New York, or with me sitting at home with my guitar.

There’s a great deal of variation in the songs: recorded at different times, in different places, by different actors. Often you’ll hear a man’s voice singing a song written for a woman’s voice. Don’t despair; just listen to the song and (I hope) appreciate it for what it is. Just use your imagination, Here we go.
